The unexplainable are fickle objects. For one era, it may be a scary thought. The ancient Chinese believed eclipses to be bad omens, and termed lunar eclipses as the “Heavenly Dog Eating the Moon”. Today, however, lunar and solar eclipses are just entertaining sights to see and enjoy. Another case would be meteors soaring above the heavens. People of the past thought that it marked the end of the world, but today, we find out that meteors are harmless, unless the meteor in heading for a collision with Earth. However, some things are still shrouded in a mist. Why are some coincidences so eerily uncanny? Why do statues weep? Why do the Hindu statues drink milk? These are all investigated in this section.
