What is it
Kirlian
Photography is a way of photographing an object so that different
degrees and colours of an “aura” surround the object in the photo.
This aura seen is used to tell the condition, general well-being of a
person and the properties of objects.
In 1939, engineer Semyon Kirlian got too close to a live electrode,
which was in an electrical device. The visible flash of light and
electric shock interested him, and so he went on to repeat the process
several times, but he used light-sensitive paper to capture the flash.
When developed, the photos showed a glow around fingertips and other
objects, which came into contact. Kirlian photography has been used by
some medical practitioners to diagnose cancer, psychological problems
etc. Although this form of diagnostics and Kirlian photography both have
their advocates, the use of it in the medical field is still not
popular, with controversy surrounding it.
What
is believed to have happened This
could be what psychic mediums have been seeing all along. The aura. This
aura is said to reveal the well-being of a person, and psychics claim
that humans have the most intricate and complicated auras, compared to
other things like plants animals and minerals. What
scientists believed Scientists
has no explanations for this mystery. Conclusion
Kirlian photography has yet
to be proved to be vastly accurate, nor is it proven that the light
surrounding an object tells anything about the object. However, there is
a possibility that Kirlian photography will have its place and time in
the future, when it can be scientifically proven.
