learn to induce lucid dreams:

How can I get lucid dreams you asked? Well, there are many ways to mentally induce lucid dreams, one of which is the reality test. The theory behind it is; if you learn to constantly checking to see if you are dreaming or not, the chances are, you will check it while dreaming too, and once you realize you are dreaming, then lucid away!!! One of the most used and simple way to check for reality is to read texts and look at digital clocks. In the dream world, texts and digital clocks will very likely mutate from your first inspection to the next, and if it does, then you are lucid dreaming. The second method to induce lucid dreams is the MILD (Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams) technique, and the steps are listed as follows:

  1. Set your mind to awaken from dreams at night, once awake try to recall these dreams as complete as you can.
  2. Before going back to sleep, concentrate on the thought that "the next time I'm dreaming, I'll remember it, and know it." Try to focus on this thought completely, if your mind starts to wander off, try to bring it quickly.
  3. At the same time, also try to imagine your self being in the dream you just awoke from, but if you don't remember, try to imagine your self in a previous dream. Also try think about your dreamsigns and say to your self: "I'm dreaming once you recognize it."
  4. Try to repeat step two and step three many times during the time you awake at night until your intention is set.

Napping in the middle of the afternoon may also help in inducing lucid dreams. Or try to set your alarm clock a hour prior to the time you must wake up, once awoke, keep your mind on lucid dreaming, and constantly during reality checks, then go back to sleep. You may also naturally wake up and is still dozing off, also to keep your mind on lucid dreaming then let your self  back to sleep again.

Other aids inducing lucid dreams such as using electronic gadgets, and drugs may also be considered, but they are by no means as practical. Electronic machines invented by Lucidity Institute include the DreamLight and the NovaDreamer, further information can be found on the Lucidity Institute website.
