Bellinsgausen F. F. (1778-1852), Russian seafarer, admiral (1843). The participant of 1-st Russian around-the-world cruise 1803-06. In 1819-21 chiefs by 1-st Russian Antarctic (round-the-world) expedition on the ships, called "East" and "Peace", opened in January 1820 Antarctic Continent and some islands in the Atlantic and Silent oceans.
