6.The Crownings and the Battlements

  The battlements are a sort of shields of masonry, built on a parapet and space between them, so that to protect the people of the fortifications and to permit them to serve of their arms, through the spaces between this shields.

  In general, this are regulars, enough risen on the parapet to protect a man and are spaced, the Epoch when were built. Usually, the space between two battlements is smaller than the width of one of them.
