Solution to problems

* Prevention of pest in natural method *

People always use toxic chemicals to kill pest but these chemicals could harm the ecosystem and cannot kill the pest completely. To solve the problem, we should prevent the growth of the pest rather than using pesticides.

For the healthy growth of crops, suitable amount of nutrients and water are important. The density of the plant should also be considered. Then pest control can occur naturally.
We can choose some pest-resistant crops to grow. Like garlic leaves with high sulphur content.
We should keep the field clean by removing the weeds. This helps to reduce the growth of pest.
There are many predators that help us to kill the pest in a natural way. These predators can stay alive in places that do not have fertilizers. The number of pest could be reduced and the crops will not be harmed.

* Crop Rotation *

Crop rotation is a common method to solve the problem of extraction of minerals. Farmers will divide the farm into four parts. Usually three of them will grow three different crops. Each of the crops will use up certain minerals. And the remaining part is called "resting field" which means nothing will be grown there. After the crops had harvested, the farmer will grow the crops in the next part. That gives a new "resting field". When this way goes on and on, particular kind of mineral will not be extracted continuously and one of the fields can have a time to rest.
