Unstable situation

* Increase in pest population *

When a single type of crops continues to grow. It supplies the same kind of food for specific pests continuously. However, when we remove that particular kind of organisms, we will also remove the natural competitors and predators of the pests. Thus the ecosystem is destroyed.

* Exhaustion of a particular type of minerals *

If certain minerals are taken away and not replacing them by adding fertilizers, the soil will become poor and not suitable for growth of that type of plant.
