Antitrust Misconduct Issues

    The most recent antitrust action taken against Microsoft is the trial taking place in Washington State. This trial is based on evidence of antitrust violations uncovered by the DOJ and FTC investigations that have been taking place since 1990.

    One of the issues in this trial is so-called "Vaporware." It is alleged that Microsoft releases information on upcoming products early in an unfair attempt to convince users to wait for their product release, rather than purchasing a competitor's product.
