In the 1990s, with the convenience and efficiency of new technology, both in terms of manufacturing and advertising, fashion  trends changed rapidly. every few months, the colour or design of the season would alter, evolving in phase around the world, with the wider circulation of International fashon magazines.
There was a revived interest in ethic clothings, especially thoses with  embriorded designs. Ehnic dresses were worn to formal occassions, as casual daywear, usually with matching embroidered slippers.
The later part of the decade saw a trend towards fluidity and simplicity. A back to basics, back to nature change in the fgashion scene took place, after the loud and alamourous era of the 1980s.
As the 21st century approached, there was a sudden rise in popularity of clothes with sleek, futuristic designs. Clothes were made with neat, defined cuts to give it the techno look. However, these designs were not as commonly found worn in streets as on designers' walkways.
