Achira o achera:

There are two kinds of this plant, but they're known by the same
vulgar name.
On one side, we have Canna indica L. And on the other it´s Canna
edulis L. Both of them belong to the Cannáceas' family.
From the first one we can use the leaves as well as the rhizomes. The
leaves, previously decocted, have a cicatrizant action. The rhizome
acts as contraceptive or abortive, but also previously decocted.
The second kind of achira must be drunk as a juice made with it´s
leaves, acting in an antiseptic way.
