It's botanic name is Xanthium spinosum L. This medicinal plant of
mountain forest belongs to the Asteráceas' family. It's therapeutic
action depends on what part of the plant you use. The leaves,
drunk as an infusion, have an antigrippe and antimeasles action.
On the other hand, the flowers, drunk in the same way, have an
antiicterus action. The root, after decoction, act on the hepatic,
emollient and diuretic parts.
