The Peace Clock Tower, standing in the atea formerly called Jisenji-no-hana, was built by the Hiroshima Rijo Lions Club, and bedicated on October 28, 1967, commemorating the tenth anniver-cooperation with the preservation movement for the A-bomb Dome. The Peace Clook Tower was made No more Hiroshimas at 8:15 every day, the time When makind first experienced the A-bomb, and with the hope that a lasting peace for all mankind can soon be established. |
