- Toa Payoh New Town
Don't let the "new" word deceive you. As one of Singapore's oldest
housing estates, Toa Payoh has gone through the years as Singapore's second
satellite town to be developed. Looking at the bustling town Toa Payoh is
today, it is hard to imagine its humble biginnings as a big swampland some
40 years ago. An important milestone for Toa Payoh was the 7th South East
Asia Peninsula (SEAP) Games help in Singapore in September 1973. Four point
blocks in the town centre was used as the games village to accomodate the

- Tampines New Town
With its location in the eastern region of Singapore, Tampines is fast living
up to its name of being the eastern regional hub of Singapore. Having won
the World Habitat Award, no Singaporean would give you a blank stare at
the mention of Tampines. Right next to the world-class Singapore Changi
International Airport, Tampines can also certainly be described as a world-class
housing estate. With its extensive roads, TPE (Tampines Expressway), public
transport systems such as the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations and bus
interchange, residents of Tampines can easily travel to the far corners

- Punggol New Town
Any Singaporean's face would certainly brighten up at the mention of Punggol.
This latest development of HDB and URA under the vision plan - Punggol 21
- is set to be the best planned town in Singapore yet with its array of
waterfront housing. People are looking forward to the completion of the
first real waterfront homes of Singapore with excellent facilites to complement
it. Any new couple would certainly list Punggol as their first choice town
if selecting a flat now as it gears up for some fast-paced developements
