Notes: Hypothetic-deductive reasoning
  1. Hypotheses are possible causes, explanation of observations.
  2. The hypothesis tested first should be the most reasonable one.
  3. Multiple hypotheses should be proposed whenever possible.
  4. Hypotheses should be phrased such that predictions can be made.
  5. Hypotheses can be ruled out with absolute certainty but cannot be proven with absolute certainty.
  6. Variables
    1. Experimental = the different/testing/varying
    2. Control = the norm or constant
