Sensors

Description

Sensors , devices used to notify other circuit components if an outside factor changes intensity (Ex: Light ) or it's properties.
Sensors are used as counters in factories ( a light beam is interrupted by objects placed on a running belt; the sensor counts how many times the beam was interrupted ).
Sensors are also used in burglar alarms .
Like the other example , when a person tries to enter a room protected by an infrared beam the sensor will notify the alarm circuit .
The missile internal guidance mechanism has optical, radar, infrared, or some other type of sensor that can detect heat, light, or electronic emissions from the target . Infrared sensors help also meteorologists to interpret the satellite pictures by determining the height and temperature of the clouds.
