 Recalculating of  point coordinates
The geometry engine will calculate the height, width, and depth for every point, this process is called tessellation or triangulation. When the view point is adjusted, the x, y, z index of each point is recalculated and those cannot be seen (having a lower z-index) will be clipped. The engine will also apply lighting effect.
    As modern graphic evolves tons of calculation due to lots of changes of view port and object movements. The x, y, z coordinates have to be recalculated very frequently.
