ILLNESSES

To smoke, to inhale and to exhale the smoke taken place when burning tobacco. An excessive abuse of this action cause addiction. The dry leaves of the plant of the tobacco are smoked in pipe or in pure, but the most extended form is the cigar or cigarette. In the decade of 1940 being smoked considered something inoffensive, but the clinical investigations and of laboratory they have demonstrated from then on that the TOBACCO increases the risk of a smoker a lot of dying from diverse illnesses, being the number one the lung cancer.

A smoker's lung 
The lungs have some tiny sacks called alveoli, where the dioxide of carbon that comes from the organism is exchanged by oxygen coming from the air. Several illnesses that affect to the lungs destroy the alveoli directly, case of the emphysema, or they damage their capacity to exchange gases.
