Control on the publicity and promotion of the tobacco 

Argentina 

Except as for the mark declaration, the publicity is forbidden of 8 at 10 of the night in radio and television. The publicity directed to those smaller than 21 years is prohibited in the theaters and cinemas to those that those can enter smaller than 18 years. It is forbidden the distribution and teachers' promotion in the schools and the universities. It is forbidden the publicity associated with the practice of the sport. In the publicity of the tobacco young people cannot be presented as model, and it is forbidden the representation of people smoking in excess. The low cigarettes in nicotine cannot be presented as beneficial for the health. 

Bolivia 

The publicity of the tobacco is limited to the format tablet, in the one that alone the name, the mark, the symbol and the content of nicotine and tar can be included. Alone activities can be represented directly associated with the act of smoking. The content of the publicity is limited to declarations on the quality, the origin and the purity of the derived products of the tobacco. People cannot be shown inhaling or exhaling cigarette smoke, adolescents, women gestantes or children. The announcements of tobacco cannot associate to sport, domestic or labor activities. The one labeled and the advertising announcements should be authorized by the authorities of health to prevent the indiscriminate promotion of the consumption of tobacco. 

Brazil 

The announcements of derived products of the tobacco in television are only authorized between 9 in the night and 6 in the morning. The publicity in the theaters before 8 in the night is forbidden if people are admitted smaller than 18 years. The announcements of tobacco should complete certain requirements: they should not incite to the irresponsible or excessive consumption, they should not mention to the health or the vacations neither to affirm that the tobacco has tranquilizing properties, they should not associate the derived products of the tobacco with the sexuality, the manliness or the femininity; it is forbidden all reference to the children or adolescents, and they cannot be directed to the youths. The size and the frequency of the warnings settle down about the health. The announcements on the patronage of events for the tobacco companies are limited to the presentation of the name and logo of the company, and it is not allowed the emission of such announcements like part of the program of the event.
