Tobacco prevention in Latin America

The Union of Teachers collaborates with the Ministry of Health forming the professors in education for the prevention of the tabaquismo. 
Trinidad and Tobago 
The Ministry of Education includes the education antitabáquica in the summary of the sanitary education of the general program of the students' of primary and secondary teaching education. 

Uruguay 

The general education of the third to the sixth degree understands healthy Behaviors, environmental contamination, clean interior air and consumption of tobacco like factor of risk for the illnesses. 

Venezuela 

The Ministry of Education has an official program. Parents, teachers and students are integrated in groups extraescolares to help to develop educational messages. 
Campaigns of information to the population 
Occasionally messages are transmitted by radio and television prepared by the professionals of health. 

Argentina 

The campaigns in the radio and the television are sponsored by the Foundation Public Health. The campaigns directed to the youth were sponsored by the Liga Argentina of Fight against the Cancer in 1978 and 1983 and for the Ministry of Health in 1979, 1980 and 1982.
