Star Ferry

The Star Ferry, which crosses Victoria Harbour from the Kowloon Peninsula to Hong Kong Island Central, has been running since 1898.The Star Ferry was the first form of mass transport in Hong Kong. It used to be the only way to cross the harbour. The Star Ferry is an extremely cheap and interesting way to cross the harbour. It costs a mere HK$2.20(Less than US$0.30) for first class!!! You can get a superb view of Hong Kong while riding the ferry. The Star Ferry has a fleet of twelve vessels carrying 95,000 passengers.
