There is an old well which used to transport the wood in Jingci Temple in Xihu of Zhejiang province. It is said that ,Jigong whose first name was Li, went to Lingyin Temple to be a Buddhist monk at 18 years old.

    He  afraid  that somebody else would see through this secret, so he pretended to be fool. One day, the temple caught fire , a big hall was destroyed , elder of a Buddhist monastery knew that Jigong had supernatural power, so asked him to help to rebuild the big hall .Jigong complied with the request, and then he went to Fujian province and found a rich man .He told the rich man that the big hall need to be rebuild, so he wanted to beg alms wood . The rich man thought Xihu was a place of historic interest and scenic beauty, if I subsidize some wood , I would become well-known. So he replied , and asked Jigong how much he needed . Jigong thrown out his kasaya(a patchwork outer vestment wore by a Buddhist monk), and it wrapped up all the hill . Then he returned to the temple and pointed to the well in the yard , said :wood has been transported! After the words , there is some wood emerged , soon the wood were piled up mountain-high in the yard.  At that time , some one shouted :That is enough . Then the wood in the well stopped emerging .
