From of old, Chinese already know that never forget where the water comes from. After the well appeared, it has become the headstream instead of rivers and lakes, so people pay excessive attention to the small well. In immemorial stories, there is always such polt as: In a small village which is very aridity, a poor man happened to finding out that there is water under the ground, and then he digged a well, therefrom, he became a rich man. Though few people believe this story, but it really tells the people that a small well placed a very important part in the people’s life in the old times.
