Concurrent Lines

Objective:

   • Know and be able to define concurrent.

Lesson 10-7 Concurrent Lines

Concurrent means tow or more lines intersect in one point.

Theorem 10-1

The bisector of the angles of a triangle intersect in a point that is equidistant from the 3 sides of the triangle

Theorem 10-2

The Perpendicular Bisector of the sides of a triangle intersect in a pt. That is equidistant from the 3 vertices of the triangle

Theorem 10-3

The lines that contain the altitudes of a triangle intersect in a pt.

Theorem 10-4

The medians of a triangle intersect in a pt. That is 2/3 of the distance from each vertex to the midpoints Of the opposite side
