The Starlight Bridge.

Traditional Slavonic burial combined a lot of rituals to give honor to the defunct and to repel the Death. World-weary antediluvians bided farewell with all elements, with their spiritual protectors. When somebody died at home his relatives disassembled a piece of roof let the soul to fly away. When a gently born unattached man died, a lass optional went with him into a grave. She trusted the happy hunting-ground with a noble husband.
