Kolyada 25^th December-6^th January Koleda is the god of peace and spread, a child of the Sun, impersonated the new year. During the Kolyada children walked in the streets with songs and dances.Stereniye 15^th February This holiday symbolized the duel between Winter and Spring. That day on westering children asked the Sun to heave in sight. If it happened it meant that Spring would be warm.
