About
us
Nick
Manicke will
attend the University of Evansville this fall, majoring in
biochemistry. An active member of his school six-time state
championship speech team, he was a state finalist in Discussion.
He also participated in the Student Council and competed with the
debate team. He wrote extensively for the school newspaper, and
the newspaper's staff voted one of his stories as the best of the year.
Paul
Musgrave is
enrolled at Indiana University this fall as a Herman G. Wells
Scholar majoring in Spanish and Political Science. In high
school, he competed on the speech and debate teams, winning the
Indiana state title in Foreign Extemporaneous in 1999 and 2000 and
earning national honors in 1998, 1999, and 2000. He served as
editor of the school newspaper, and his work received naitonal
attention from the Quill and Scroll Society. Involved in
student government, he was a member of the Student Council and the
Junior Class President. Paul was also a delegate to the 1999
U.S. Senate Youth Program. A National Merit Scholar, he was
Class of 2000 salutatorian.
Andrew
Schmitt will study at DePauw University as
a Science Research Fellow this fall to pursue studies in
engineering. A four-year member of the Student Council, he was
actively involved in community service during high school. He
served as the chairman of a local community organization's grant
screening committee responsible for tens of thousands of dollars
annually. He was the school newspaper's managing editor, and
his work took first place in the Tri-State Journalism Awards.
He was also a varsity member of the state's third place debate
team. Andrew was valedictorian for the Class of 2000.

Arthur
Adye
is the AP History teacher at F. J. Reitz High School in Evansville,
Indiana. A former marching band director, his bands competed
several times at the state level. Mr. Adye has studied
twentieth century American history extensively, especially Theodore
Roosevelt's presidency. He once had dinner with Richard Nixon,
and sat next to the Prime Minister of Mongolia on board the aircraft carrier U.S.S.
Theodore Roosevelt
during flight operations.
