| How do I become a member? | Pass the Entrance-Exam and be sorted into a house by the Sorting Hat. Times of admission: after December 15 up to 400 students; the same after April 15 and August 15 |

| How long is a school-year? |

| Who gets the House-Cup? | The House-Cup goes to the Prefect of the house which won. Winner is the house with the most points, that can mainly be gained by doing the Magic-Exam. This year Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw got it both! |
| How many shops are in Diagon Alley? | 6. Just look thoroughly! |
| What can I buy there? | There you can get everything a wizard or witch wants, e.g. luminous wands, magic pets like Scabbers, Hedwig or the tiny owl, bookmarks, blotting-pads, pointed hats and robes for every house... |
| How do I become Prefect? | The Prefects are being elected each year. First of all, Prof. Dumbledore makes a list of students noticed positively, then all students have their vote. The current Prefects you can find in the left menu-bar in the "Prefects"-entry. |
| When are the exams? | The exams start about 4 weeeks before the end of a trimester. |
| What happens if I fail? | You can repeat the Promotion-Exam once. If you fail again, you will have to repeat the class. |
| What will be when I'm in 2nd grade? | You can choose your own subjects, you can make your own Magic-Homepage and take part in the Quidditch-Cup - when pass the exam. |

| Why can't I listen in the Great Hall? | This problem occurs mainly to Netscape-Usern. We don't know exactly why. But we are working on a totally new Great Hall, Common Rooms etc. - we can't tell you more at the moment. |
| Why can't I put entries into the forum? | That seems to have something to do with Netscape, too. Who can get the Internet-Explorer should try using it. When the problem does still occur, ask your Prefects for help. |
| Why does "Exploding Snape" not work, and why do some pages look so funny? | Well, newer broswers contain PlugIns, with which the diplaying of viedeos and movies can be realised. However, there are also certain requirements to your computer - sorry! |
| Which areas can I enter with password only? |

| What happens if I forgot my password? | First of all, Professor McGonagall gets very close to running berserk, but when you gave us your correct eMail-address, we will be able to check your identity. That's why mail to hogwarts@harry-potter-fanclub.de |

What happens if I register twice (by accident)? |
Double-admission might lead to your expelling Hogwarts, but some do it as they fear we didn't get their admission-form. Don't worry: when you do everything correct, we will receive your form. |
| How can I change my house (I wanna be with a friend of mine)? | You must not change your house. Only in very, very special cases at the most, you can ask Prof. McGonnagal by the end of the school-year. |
| Why can't a friend of mine register, she doesn't have her own computer, but she's great Fan, too? | In these cases you have to clear that with us, as we could make it possible for 2 or more students to use one computer. |
| How can I download the screensaver? | There is a detailed information on how to do it. Although we admit it might be difficult to understand, but when you ask your parents or other older relatives for help, it will be no problem. The Head Boy (xhieda@aol.com) might be able to help you, too. |
