About the Team

Elizabeth Chan (aka makoto) is a 16-year old senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She likes to make webpages, play hockey and volleyball, go to eat, sleep, run, play the piano, write in 3rd person and daydream about her future life as a lawyer/teacher/actress/model/singer. She likes to plan things out (for instance, her wedding is already taken care of.) Her talents include: piano, HTML, and making posters for publicity committee in class council. =P Her pride and joy is apartment 201, her first webpage and being a Christian. If you're looking for her secret weakness, listen closely and I'll tell you. She can't swim! But don't tell anyone. It's our little secret. She also keeps an audio diary so if you find it you can expose her plans for world domination!

Ellen Wright (a.k.a. Mariko) is, like the other two members of this team, a senior at Thomas Jefferson. She is, however, the oldest, at almost 18 years (yay!). Her hobbies are anything to do with Japan; she loves manga, anime, JPOP, and anything else she can get her hands on. Her favorite singer is Utada Hikaru, her favorite author is Orson Scott Card, and she considers those the two most important things for people to know about herself. During the summer of 2000, she spent almost the entire month of July in Japan. She spends most of her free time working on either her webpage or someone else's, reading, or hanging out with friends.
