Due to modern science and technology, extensive research of this killer virus has been
done and thus giving us an understanding as to symptoms which the Ebola virus gives rise
to in humans. These symptoms may not necessarily be the same for all humans.
Ebola infected patients arrive overtly ill, dehydrated, apathetic and disoriented. The
Ebola virus is known for the extraordinary amount of bleeding, both internal and external.
The patient usually dies within 7 to 16 days and the specific cause being shock and severe
blood loss.
Countdown to death
day 1-6
 |
The head aches and the throat is sore. |
 |
Clots form it the bloodstream, slowing the blood to major organs. |
 |
Red spots appear on the skin. |
 |
Skin bubbles up into white blisters. |
Day 7-10
 |
Mouth, gums and salivary glands bleed. The lining of the tongue, throat and windpipe
slip into lungs or are torn out while vomiting black blood. |

The testicles swell and turn black. In women, the labia turn black and blue. Pregnancies
are aborted. |

size of a baseball. |
Day 11-13
 |
Eyeballs haemorrhage and fill up with blood. The eyes may weep blood. |
 |
The heart softens and bleeds into itself. The chest cavity fills with
blood. |

 |
In the last moments, the body is thrown into a fit, limbs trash wildly
spraying infected blood. |
