The first articles in our press about a new deadly and unknown so far illness started appearing in the beginning of the 80s. Initially it was bolded that it targets only people having risky way of living and behaviour. The first names of the sickness were Gay-Syndrom and GRID-Syndrom (Gay Related Immuno Deficency). In very short time was prooven that it is a "new" infectious disease, which is caused by a virus (HIV - Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which damages the immune system of the human. The sickness is called Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
At the end of 1999 the HIV infected are already 34.3 million people
and every minute 5 young people get infected.
