The Church of czarevitch Dmitri
"on the blood "
In the northeast part of the Kremlin the church of czarevitch Dmitri "on the blood ", is situated, constructed in 1692 on a place, where, by the legend, was killed the czarevitch and where in the beginning of the 17-th century wooden chapel stood.
The remained stone church a Characteristic construction of the second half of the 17th century. It is rather small a five-domed temple with a hipped-roof-belfry. It’s are painted in red color, on the background the white magnificently processed casings are brightly allocated. A temple is crowned with a little bit extended drums and the dark blue domes with the golden stars.
