My name is Nicholas Thorne.  I live in Cape Town and I am in Grade 10 at Pinelands High School.  The subjects I have chosen are: Maths, Physical Science, Accounting and Computer Studies.   It is through Computer Studies that I have learnt about Thinkquest.  My mother works at the Two Oceans Aquarium so I thought it would be the perfect topic to do the projet on.

Hello.  My name is Stewart Cousins and I am in grade ten at Pinelands High School in South Africa.  My subjects that I take at school are Maths, Science, Biology and Computer Studies.   Computer Studies is my favourite subject.  We were given a choice between two major projects, one of them being ThinkQuest.  I was asked by one of my friends, Giles Filmer whether or not I wanted to participate in ThinkQuest and I was very keen to take part.  I was even more excited when we decided to do the Two Oceans Aquarium because I would like to be a Marine biologist one day when I am older.  I am also very interested in what goes on under the water and I learnt a lot about different kinds of fishes and their habitats.  I am sixteen years old and my hobbies include: running, swimming, working out, playing guitar and diving.  I enjoy various kinds of music.  My favourite band at the moment is Limp Biskut.  My best movies at the moment are Gladiator and MI-2.  I really enjoyed this project and I feel that I benefitted from it greatly.

Hi!  My name is Giles Filmer and I am in Grade 10 at Pinelands High School.  I attend Computer Studies SG at my school and HG at Rhodes High, a neighbouring school.  I am extremely interested in computers and plan to work with them on a permanent basis in the near future.  I enjoy listening to music, twiddling with my computer, going to the ice rink and the movies with my friends, and playing on my drum kit.  I also love animals, especially cats of which I have four at home.  I thought Thinkquest sounded like a great way to learn to build webpages, with the added bonus of getting a prize at the end if you win.
