1. What do you feel will be the major technological development in the next 10 years?

Artificial Intelligence. Machines will replace jobs that cause humans alot of stress and will replace alot of human error. Like operating the MBTA system.

Also Automotive industry is strongly influence by technology. cars are becoming computers on wheels.( check out www.clarionmultimedia.com and you can see some of the stuff they have available for cars.It is incredible)

2. Please describe the development and explain why it will be so important.

Artificial Intelligence has been around for over 20 years. Now SCI Fi is more realistic. You now can pick up your cellphone and start your car and make it turn on your heated seats and play a cd or tape. Or if you have a GPS system plot the destination from your touch tone phone.

3. How can we learn more about this development research wise such as web sites, books, and magazines?

You first off you need to know who the developers are and tech magazines are a good place to start. Personally my first place I look for new break through is cnetv the program and website.
