is it?
Rubeosis
is caused when weak, unstable blood vessels emerge because other diseases
have lowered the blood vessel count. This is most common after
surgery has been performed and the eye is trying to repair itself.
What
causes it?
Diabetic
retinopathy and vein occlusion
are two common conditions that could lead to rubeosis. Also, rubeosis
has been know to result in glaucoma.
