One of the purposes of this site is to bring you mythology from around the world. For this task, we have chosen to bring you creation myths and flood myths as these are often the myths that are at the center of any culture. Because of the value these myths possess in cultures, we feel that it is important for people to read and understand them. One of the reasons this section caters only to creation and flood myths is because hero myths are found very often on the internet and are discussed in much greater detail than cosmogony and destruction myths.
