REASONS FOR EASY JAPANESE CONQUEST

The Japanese planned and executed the Malayan campaign with high degree of skill.  Their soldier were well-prepared and well equipped.  They also enjoyed tremendous air superiority.   At the same time they were fortunate to have efficient leaders like the cool-headed, farsighted general Tomoyuki Yamashita ,commander the imperial Japanese Army, who used bluff to get the British to surrender.
