Fads, and Crazes (The 1920's)

In the 1920's several fads and crazes came to being. For instance, dancing marathons and dances like the Charleston became immensely popular. Mah-jongg, flagpole sitting, yo-yo's, goldfish eating, pogo sticks, and roller-skating became a few of the many fads.

In this section of "The Roaring Twenties," we have provided users with two different games. Both the crossword puzzle and the card game center around the theme of crazes and fads. Crossword puzzles, which were introduced in 1923, quickly became a hot item. Collecting cards featuring pictures of different things were also "in" during the 1920's.
