   Feeling Old at Twenty-Three (1926) Sun Feb 4 20:27:05 EST 2001

What I want not to do more than anything else is to settle down into the life of a white-collar wage-slave. And my greatest danger right now is not in the fact that I'm married, but that I don't believe in anything, least of all in skepticism. If I could be a propagandist for some damn thing or another, it wouldn't be so difficult, but what's the use of getting excited about something that doesn't matter in the least. I sometimes even envy a Methodist preacher! Why was Brick so discontented? Go to http://themestream.com/articles/61517.html to find out.
