The Catholic faith was summarized into a whole creed composing of 12 articles that inspired many Christians for hundreds and thousands of years now. They called it, the Apostle's Creed. Truthfully speaking, it was not really the 12 apostles who wrote this statement that lived for so many generations now and has surpassed many trials and changes of times. Rather the people considered this as a representation of the 12 apostle's faith that bounded them for life to God.

The Apostle's Creed was the product of combined creeds and writings existing long before like the Trinitarian beliefs and the Christological writings that showed the same structures and perspectives as this creed. In years that followed other highlighted aspects about Christianity were added but this did not alter the creed's historical foundation which was already intact in people's heart.

The Creed is somehow special to all Christians because like the Apostles it represents their devotion and love for God. It has become their faith and a big part of their lives. This resulted to their hearts wanting to let everyone know their joy of finding their haven in this chaotic world. And perhaps, somehow show the world in their little way their courage and fidelity by altering these words…yes we believe.
