The Team

Thinkquest is really a good opportunity to put all those idle hours of Internet surfing to some functional use as well as to co-operate with different nationalities around the world. My forte is in graphics public relations and site-content, so I did up most of the banners on this site and made the necessary contacts with the relevant authorities in Postal Service. This international co-operation with my two foreign team-mates has really helped me develop a more cosmopolitan attitude, something our government aims to achieve in youngsters.

Richard - Queensland, Australia
This has been my first and last year participating in the ThinkQuest competition as I won't be eligible next year. It has been hard to fit the work for ThinkQuest in with school work but never the less possible. I am deeply indebted to both James and Kevin for their help and guidance with this web site; I have never made anything this large in this length of time. James and Kevin are both obviously more experienced than I am in this area and it was great to work with them on the site. Ms. Gwee Hana also helped with many great ideas for improving the site. Next year I will (hopefully) be doing a B.Sc/B.Eng at the University of Queensland.

Kevin - San Antonio, Texas, USA

This is my final year to work on ThinkQuest since I will not be qualified next year.  I wanted to make something that was really special.  This is definitely the best web site I've ever worked on, and I greatly appreciate all the effort that my other team members have put forth.  This coming year I will be attending the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington to learn how to make video games.

I enjoy teaching Geography to gifted and mainstream students in Singapore. Whenever I can, I indulge in traveling and photography, among other interests. I coached a group for ThinkQuest '98, Volcanoes Online. ThinkQuest is an excellent learning experience, both in the process of the collaboration as well as in developing the final product. I highly encourage all future interested participants to have a go at this competition.
