The typical Swazi post office is small yet sufficient to meet most needs
of mail. Mail is delivered within the sphere of influence of the Postal
Authority on transport provided by the post office itself. For mail going to the
remote areas outside the border gates, public transport is utilized.
Due to the small size of
Swaziland, Swaziland can be easily divided into 4 regions: Hhohho, Manzini,
Shiselweni and Lubombo, each with its representative code H, M, S and L
respectively. Each of the districts within each region has its own 3 digit code
i.e. Luve in Manzini Region has M209.
