In Afghanistan the Postal Service operates under the Ministry of
Communication, and is run by the government.
The main role of the Afghanistan postal system is to deliver letters
and parcels nationally and internationally. By law they are required to provide
a parcel service, and to fulfill the needs of the community.
Their goals are to meet the needs of the people and be prepared, and
able, to provide that service to the community despite rapid economic growth
predicted in the future.
The postal system provides both letter and parcel post both
nationally and internationally.
