Operations
The postal service in Gambia is run by the Government and is part of the
Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The main roles of the postal service are to collect, sort, and deliver letters
and parcels, and to sell postal items at local post offices.
Future
Goals
The Government has set about establishing the postal service and regulator as
two separate parts in the Government rather than one. This should help to
provide services that are more affordable to the public.

Provided
They provide the services of collecting and delivering letters and parcels,
selling stamps and other postal accessories, and maintaining the postal services
provided for the customer such as letterboxes.
