Present Operations

  The aim of the postal service is to restructure the postal system so that its control is centralized, making for a more efficient service.

  The services that are provided by the Cuba postal system are to control the functions of the parts of the postal service, to process and examine possible changes and future services, and to deliver mail both nationally and internationally.

Post Code
  The Postcodes in Cuba consist of five digits. The first two digits represent a province, town or large district, the first two digits combined with the third digit represent that the postcode is in Havana which is a large district, and the first four digits together represent other districts. The fourth digit represents the postal area, the fourth and fifth digit together represent that the postcode is from a main provincial town and the last digit represents the delivery area (e.g. 11830).
