  They are responsible for the running of all the post offices around the country and ensuring that they operate properly. They also provide letter, card, and parcel post both nationally and internationally.

Post Code
  The Postcodes in Costa Rica consist of four digits. The first one represents the postal region, the next two represent the delivery center and the last represents the post office (e.g. 1068).
