Congo (Brazzaville and Kinshasa)

Present Operations
The Postal system in Congo is a public corporation and was created in June 1964.

Main Role
The main roles of the postal service are to process and deliver letters parcels and deal with money orders. It operates throughout the country and internationally.

Future Goals
The plans for the future are to make the postal system an independent company, separate from telecommunications. The country is currently reviewing laws governing the regulation of the postal system. They aim to better their services to further serve their customers. In the future they will also manage a lot of the country's data transmission.

Services Provided
They are required by law to provide a letter and parcel service to the country. They also deal with the financial side of the postal system.
