Operations
The
postal service of Burundi is known as Régie Nationale des Postes and is
supervised by the Government.
Main Role
Their main
role is to provide a letter and parcel service to the country as well as
maintaining the postal network within the country and internationally. This has
not always been the case and in recent times their ability to accomplish these
tasks has been impeded.
Future
Goals
The postal service is currently trying to gain further independence and to
maintain and develop services that will further meet the needs of their
customers.

Provided
Other
than letters and parcels, the postal service is responsible for postage stamps
and other methods of letter payment.
