Main Role
The main role of the postal service is to process and deliver letters and parcels as well as to maintain a working postal system for the country.

Future Goals
Botswana plans to adapt the postal system to further meet the needs of the customer. They are trying to do this by becoming a more commercial business.

Services Provided
The postal system is required to provide a letter and parcel post service throughout the country. They also sell stamps, phone cards, and other postal items as well as providing a place to pay certain bills.
