  Since the first of October 1996 the postal system of Bhutan has been a government company with the state responsible for all capital.

Main Role
  The main areas of the Bhutan postal system are letter and parcel post as well as monetary transport.

Future Goals
  The goals of the service are to provide a way of sending letters and parcels to the whole country in an efficient, effective, and inexpensive way. They also aim to increase their profit since they changed ownership.

Services Provided
  A letter and parcel post service is available to the whole population of Bhutan for both local and international mail.
