Benin
Present
Operations
The
postal service of Benin is required to be a public company by law. At present it
is part of the same company as the telecommunications services.
Main Role
The
company's main functions are the sorting and delivering of mail and providing
telephone services.
Future
Goals
The postal side of the company aims to try to become a privately owned company.
This, however, is made difficult due to the non-profitable postal system and a
surplus of staff with a lack of knowledge.
Services
Provided
As of
now there are no services that are required to be provided, but in the future,
if they become a private company, there will need to be an addition of services
for the company to survive.
